Roufinos Sophistes, strategos. •Λ CЄΠ ΓЄTAC KAICAP Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta to right, seen from behind. Rev. ЄΠ CTP K POYΦINOYΟΦ / CMYPNAI/ΩN• Tyche standing front, head to left, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left, within tetrastyle temple set on base with four steps and with acroteria in the form of the letter B on roof; in pediment, shield. BMC 426 (same dies). Klose p. 294, 17 (V2/R17). Rare. A beautiful coin with a lovely portrait and an attractive dark olive green patina. Minor adjustment marks as made, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
